Push and pull

It was hard. Acted it out, filmed it, took screenshots myself and traced on top of it still nothing worked. I know exaggeration is the key to animation but I’m just not used to this style.

Character design

Did it in one hour. Like I said in my last post I’m just bad at making stories, would be better if we were given some key words. All I need is artprompts.org.

So this character is based how I foresee myself in 3 years. Hope this never becomes a reality.

After seeing others’ works I noticed how simple and neat they were, but creative and convincing and ANIMATABLE at the same time, mine was just a clump of unorganised lines. It’s a little too late to change my drawing style now. It’s going to be one obstacle to my career as an animator.

Acting class

My body can’t physically handle it. The last time I went to the gym was before the pandemic. But it was fun, crawling around was such an enjoyble experience, getting to see more details of the floor, hair and dirt and someone’s coffee cup in the corner of the room that should have been binned long ago but they just followed their free will and decided to throw it on the floor. Funny how even the most mundane things in the world have so many layers of textures. So next time I will know how to draw a dirty floor.
